Saint Martin's Island
St Martin's Island, a clean and peaceful place, is the only coral island in Bangladesh, with sea beaches bordered with coconut palms and laid-back local people. It's nothing but a little island in the north eastern piece of the Bay of Bengal, made the southernmost part of Bangladesh. It is around 8 km west of the northwest shore of Myanmar, at the mouth of the Naf River. It is just 8 sq. Kilometer in size. Specialists separate this island into three sections. Northern part is called Narikel Jinjira. It is 2. 134 km long and 1, 402 m wide. The southern part is called Dakkhin Para by the nearby and its length and width are progressively 1929 m and 1890 m. The center part which known as Maddhapara locally. The length and width individually 1524m and 518m.The island is particularly keen with immense organic assortment like existing fauna and vegetation Coral, Mollusk, Fish, Amphibian, Turtle, Snail, Bird and Mammals. Other than above coconut tree is the significant money crop.
Saint Martins Island is recognized one of the most beautiful place of Bangladesh and its natural beauty can attract anyone. The best time to visit the place is between November to February, when it is winter in Bangladesh.
